IMPS mobile payment system
NPCI launched the Mobile Payments System with 35 Member Banks but the consumer awareness and adoption was very low. Due to the low consumer pull the member banks were also losing interest and not promoting this new mobile based payment system to their consumers.
Drive awareness about the IMPS based mobile payments to the youth, who were the key target audience.
Drive awareness about the payment scenarios where IMPS based mobile payments comes handy.
We created a Facebook Application with users sharing their thoughts on usage scenarios where IMPS can help Gamification elements were added to the app where in the most liked / voted scenario stands to win.
The Application and the Contest promoted through Facebook and Twitter
Social Sharing took the campaign viral.
Offline tweet-ups were organized to physically showcase usage scenarios and discuss new ones
About 180 New scenarios were posted by users
More than 12,000 votes were cast
